Ibaraki: Beach, Onsen, and Garlic Ramen

Ryohei took a van-full of our friends to Ibaraki-ken, about an hour and half outside of Tokyo. We met at Hachiko at 8:00.
Our drive: Ryohei.

Waiting by the car at Hachiko.

Bea!

Orarai Beach. The sand and water was really clean, but it was a bit cold compared to last week in okinawa.

Lots of bar and food shacks on the beach.

After the beach, we went to a nearby Onsen for a couple hours. It overlooked the ocean, and had several different ponds/pools with different temperatures of water.

Garlic Ramen; JUMBO size. Roy and I shared it.

We barely finished it.

Warm sunset on the drive home.

Sumida River at night.

Cruising through Tokyo's freeways at dusk. We passed by Tokyo Tower.
